Who we help
Many people hold the mistaken view that those people who find themselves homeless, destitute or struggling with addiction have somehow brought this situation on themselves. We know from experience that isn’t necessarily the case.
Many of the people that we help rely on us because traditional support systems are not working for them. They may come from broken homes, have suffered from an illness that prevents them from working, got into debt or are just struggling to cope with daily life. We also support people who are homeless and who have addiction problems.
Providing a safe environment
We don’t have any rules about qualifying for our support. When people come to us they need help. Our commitment has always been to providing that help, and providing it in a safe, comfortable, non-threatening environment.
